Meet the Founder

I founded Applied Resilience Lab because I know what it's like to feel betrayed by your own body. For most of my life, physical activity was synonymous with injury. I spent decades in a cycle of joint pain and swelling that left doctors confused. Despite countless X-rays, MRIs, and appointments, the medical consensus was often a shrug.

In my corporate career, this ambiguity was the exact opposite of how I operated. As a Strategic Operations Director with over 15 years of experience, I spent my days architecting the data, processes, and teams that drive growth in the tech space. I am a builder—specializing in establishing foundational systems and translating complex data into clear strategy. Yet, while I was successfully building agile methodologies for Fortune 500 companies, my own physical foundation was crumbling.

It wasn't until my early 30s that I finally received a diagnosis of generalized hypermobility. By then, I had already discovered yoga, which began the long, deliberate process of putting my body back together. I realized I had to treat my body like the complex systems I managed at work: it required a robust infrastructure, data-driven decisions, and a strategy for long-term sustainability. Through the lens of Vinyasa, I learned that true resilience isn't just about flexibility—it's about stability, awareness, and control.

Today, I am an RYT-200 Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, endurance coach, and active athlete. The body that once couldn't handle basic activity without injury now thrives on the endurance circuit. After completing the Humboldt Redwoods Marathon in October 2025, I have shifted my focus toward the next major objective in my endurance roadmap: the TCS Sydney Marathon in August 2026.

At Applied Resilience Lab, I bridge the gap between high-level operational strategy and physical durability. By combining my background as a Strategic Operations Director with my foundational expertise as an RYT-200 Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and endurance coach, I help you architect a body that can withstand the demands of your life. Whether you are navigating a late diagnosis, recovering from injury, or training for a world-class finish line, we build the systems you need to keep moving.
